Morning sightseeing features the Parthenon's crowning beauty atop of the Acropolis, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, the Temple of Zeus and the Theatre of Dionysos. Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 4 (B), Athens
Day at leisure to further explore the fascinating city of Athens. Visit one of the many museums or art galleries and take a stroll in fashionable Kolonaki.
Day 5, Athens - Rome
Today you may choose from the optional sightseeing tours, Delphi - site of the temple of Apollo where for 14 centuries the Oracle spoke or Argolis to see the ampitheater known for its perfect acoustics. (B)
Day 6, Rome
Transfer to the airport for the flght to Rome, the Eternal city. Meeting and assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. (B) |

Day 7, Rome
This morning enjoy the tour of imperial Rome. Arrive by coach at Piazza Venezia with its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier then on to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michaelangelo from where there is a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. Tour continues to the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius, Cestius before arriving at the Basilica of St.Paul outside the walls. Today's tour ends with a stop outside the imposing Colosseum. (B)
Day 8, Rome
Full day at leisure to window-shop on the Via Condotti or enjoy an espresso at a typical cafe in the Piazza Navona and don't forget to drop a coin in Trevi Fountain. (B)
Day 9, Rome
Another day to enjoy Rome and maybe consider a visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. (B)
Day 9, Rome - USA
Depart this morning for the airport for the return flight home. (B)
