Day 1: USA-Athens
Departure from the USA on an overnight flight to Athens.
Day 2: Athens
Upon arrival meeting and assistance and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 3: Athens
Morning sightseeing features the Parthenon's crowning beauty atop the Acropolis, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, the Temple of Zeus and the Theatre of Dionysus. Remainder of day at leisure to explore this fascinating city. (B)
Day 4: Athens - Olympia
Depart this morning on the 3 day/ 2 night Classical Tour (or 4 day/3 night Classical Tour). Drive via the coastal road stopping at the Corinth Canal and continue to Epidaurus to visit the renowned amphitheatre with its perfect acoustics. Proceed to Mycenae to see the Lions Gate and Beehive Tombs before driving on to Olympia for an overnight stay. (B, D) |

Day 5: Olympia - Delphi
This morning visit the site of the first Olympic Games; the sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus and the museum. Drive via Patras to Rion for the crossing to Antirion and arrive in Delphi for an overnight stay. (B, D)
Day 6: Delphi - Athens
Visit the Sanctuary of Apollo and the museum. Return to Athens via the picturesque village of Arachova. Overnight in Athens. (B)
Day 7: Athens
Day at leisure in Athens. Take a walk to a museum, stop at one of the chic boutiques in Kolonaki or enjoy the view from Lycabettus Hill. Overnight Athens. (B)
Day 8: Athens - USA
Transfer to the airport this morning for the departure flight. (B) |

Day 6: Delphi - Kalambaka
Continuation of the visit in Delphi at the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the museum. Drive through the typical villages of central Greece to Kalambaka. Overnight in Kalambaka. (B, D) |

Day 7: Kalambaka - Meteora - Athens
Today visit Meteora and enjoy the striking scenery of the monasteries which appear to be suspended in mid air. At one of these monasteries see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Stop at Leonida's monument in Thermopylae en-route to Athens. Overnight Athens. (B)
Day 8: Athens - USA
