Departure from the USA on an overnight flight to Athens.
Day 2: Athens
Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of day at leisure to explore Athens - the birthplace of civilization.
Day 3: Athens
Morning city sightseeing features the Parthenon's crowning beauty atop the Acropolis, the Erechtheum with its Porch of Maidens, the beautifully preserved Theseum, the Temple of Zeus and the Theatre of Dionysus. Afternoon at leisure. (B)
Day 4: Athens
A full day to enjoy Athens, a city of striking contrasts, or embark on an optional tour to Delphi or Argolis (Corinth, Mycenae and Epidaurus). (B)

Cruise: Mykonos

Day 7: Cruise: Patmos - Kusadasi
Patmos is the sacred island where St. John lived and wrote the book of Revelations. The monastery sits high on a hill and contains a priceless collection of icons and manuscripts. Kusadasi - gateway to the ancient Greek colony of Ephessos, founded by the Athenians is the largest and best preserved ancient city in the world. (B, L, D)

Upon disembarkation transfer to the airport for the departure flight. (B)
FOUR DAY CRUISE
Day 6: Cruise: Kusadasi - Patmos
Kusadasi - gateway to the ancient Greek colony of Ephessos. Patmos is the sacred island where St. John lived and wrote the book of Revelations. (B, L, D)

The capital of Crete, Heraklion is home to the Palace of Knossos. Founded by Sir Arthur Evans, the elaborate Palace is believed to be the mythical labyrinth of King Minos. Santorini - fabled to be the lost continent Atlantis. The main town of Thira clings to a steep cliff accessible by cable-car or donkey. (B, L, D)
